LOVES FLOWER

God created me I am like a tall flower
so full of delight in fragrance
and splendor of color

Until I am pelted by rain; hail then hits me
heavy and hard is it's assault

I am then trampled under foot since
I no longer resemble the flower I once was
I am now just a battered down plant

But my roots have not suffered from all
the attacks that were made
So they are slowly able to help me rise
up again to be that flower which I once was

Gazing upon me now one would never believe
thatIoncewasbentover, broken down, mangled
and such a disfigured sight

I am now the image of my first bloom
only much more intense is my fragrance
and my color magnificently bright

God created me I am like a tall flower
so full of delight in fragrance
and splendor of color

Come Find Me Lord

I am lost Lord Jesus
Are you searching for me?
I am in the wilderness
Why can’t you see?

My eyes can’t focus
To see the forest for the trees
I stepped in a nest
I’m being stung by the bees

I am tangled in brush
The grass is so thick
The forest is dense
And I feel so sick

My heart does ache
I’m calling out to you
Abba, come find me
I give so many clues

I describe where I am
Each landmark along the way
Each obstacle in detail
Can’t you hear me pray?

I cry so loudly
For I feel you have gone
And left me alone
To find my way home

Abba, are you searching?
Can’t you see where I am
My arms reaching upward
Your lost little lamb?

Your word says to trust
You’ll never leave my side
When I need you the most
It’s then that you hide

Solitude

I am alone when
single star shines
in the sky!

Being alone
becoming soul’s clone
is a feeble atone!

Thought waves whirled
in the mind ocean

Past casting shadow on my
Soul!

Solitude
necessary to reach heart’s altitude
in fortitude

Being aloof
Enjoying rapture roof
Is ecstasy ‘s proof

Solitude
Shuns activity
Sprouts creativity
Solitude is soul’s ‘solo’
Without it heart is hollow

LISTEN TO THE SUNSET

Listen to the sunset,
Hear its silent sigh
As it falls down the horisen
Warning, the moon is nigh

Listen to the sunset
Hear its silent threat
That darkness will be upon us
It makes everyone upset

Listen to the sunset
The vanity of its words
How beautiful this sunset is
With its colour, and birds

Listen to the sunset
See its pretty hue
But I cant enjoy the sunset
If I am not with you

All the pretty colours are meaningless
So are the birds, and the sounds
Because it all means nothing to me
If you are not around
Just remember this though,
Promise you wont forget,
Even if your far away,
We'll be watching the same sunset

So listen to the sunset
Enjoy its beauty true
When you see it, think of me
And I will think of you
